Matt is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Co-Founder of BridgeQuest Wealth Strategies in 2016. His primary focus is strategic investment planning for individuals and families in or nearing a transition point in their lives. He thrives on connecting, strategizing, and formulating a customized solution for each client.
Growing up in Marshalltown, Iowa, Matt learned at an early age what it meant to serve people in an extraordinary way by watching his dad do that for clients. Matt memorized and compiled player statistics from his sports card collection for hours on end, not realizing this was the beginning of his investment planning career.
Matt was able to escape the Iowa winters after high school, receiving his Economics and Business degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where he was also co-captain of the basketball team. After six years of working with small businesses in the sports marketing world, Matt spent 14 years at a large retirement services company here in Kansas City guiding individuals and families as a financial advisor.
Matt enjoys spending quality time with his wife Tara and their two teenage daughters. They all love to travel, eat adventurously, and of course, root on their beloved Chiefs & Royals. Matt is also involved in numerous causes that make a difference in Kansas City and beyond. He is a past board member of the greater Kansas City Financial Planning Association, the Hope Family Care Center in Kansas City, MO. He is also co-founder and a leader of Christ Preparatory Academy Father’s Club chapter.

Greg is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Co-Founder of BridgeQuest Wealth Strategies. He strives to ensure that clients gain clarity and focus in the financial planning process. Clients can appreciate his ability to distill down his in-depth analysis into an understandable game plan.

Growing up on the family farm in southern Missouri, Greg learned both the value of hard work and challenge of running a multi-generational family business. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State University, Greg moved to Kansas City, spending several years in marketing & business development before becoming a Financial Advisor.  He then spent the next 10 years with a large retirement services firm, helping many individuals and families plan for their future as well as working with large group retirement plans.

Greg’s focus is on helping clients develop their planning strategy while organizing and simplifying their financial life.

In contrast to his love of spreadsheets and numbers, Greg has a deep passion for the outdoors, especially the mountains where he enjoys biking, backpacking and climbing (a difficult pastime for someone living in Kansas!).  Around KC, Greg loves finding new restaurants with his “foodie” wife, Myndi.  Together, they love spending time with their kids and raising them to: be strong, be kind, and have good taste in music.

“Who you gonna call? …Steph Whitehill!” All jokes aside, as Client Services Director, Steph keeps our client experience running smoothly. She guides new clients through the onboarding process and serves as the main point-of-contact for account-related needs and changes.
 
Additionally, Steph can assist our career changing clients through benefits analysis, using her knowledge of insurance and the complexities of Medicare to help make the decision-making process seem a little less complicated.

Steph and her husband, Alex, share three children – Olivia, Ava, and Mack. When they aren’t at soccer fields or kids’ events, you can almost always find them tackling a home renovation project. They also enjoy neighborhood get-togethers, the occasional night out, and all things football. When they aren’t watching their kids on the soccer fields or volleyball courts, you can almost always find them tackling a home renovation project.

Ying has over 20 plus years’ experience in the Financial Industry. She’s held a role as a Client Services Associate the last 10 of those years and is excited to join the BridgeQuest Team! Ying will be the first friendly face you connect with when you visit or call our office. In her role, you’ll experience her most often in appointment scheduling, client event planning and communication. Ying will work closely with all team members to help create the best client experience at BridgeQuest. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have; she is here to help and looks forward to getting to know all our clients on a personal level as well. And being from a small town, she knows that the extra touch of grace and kindness goes a long way.

On the personal front, she loves to spend time with her kids, Christian, Mila, and the newest apple of her eye, her granddaughter, Carina. Her family is the most important thing in her life and every moment with them is never taken for granted. Outside of her kids, she loves three things in life…good food, a good drumline, and a good Hail Mary!

Eva attends Colorado Christian University where she is studying business and communications. On the weekends you can often find her on a new Colorado adventure—hiking, skiing, or just hanging out with friends in the mountains!

She also enjoys running, baking, bible studies, and visiting new places with her friends and family.
